The NFL Super Bowl is fast approaching (Feb. 3rd!) and there’s about a week left to plan for the perfect party. Don’t wait until the last minute to get all the fixings for your spread. The best thing about the Super Bowl (minus the commercials and puppy bowl of course!) is the FOOD!

The biggest thing is ease. Everything at your Super Bowl party, should be able to be eaten by hand or with minimal mess. This is just as much for the host as for you. It’s annoying to have to use a fork and knife while you’re trying to watch the game. It’s also easier to clean up if it’s just finger food!

1. The Appetizers

You want to make sure that your food for your Super Bowl Party is inclusive of different dietary choices. I usually recommend the staples like chicken wings (check this link for 37 types of wings to choose from!) cheese and fruit plates, and veggie plates.

Although for a fun twist on the fruit or veggies, make them into skewers for even more hands-free eating!!! Or offer wood skewers with the plates so people can make their own! Need more ideas? How about 50?

2. The Main Course

Of course the Super Bowl is basically an all day affair, so you need to be prepared to serve your guests an actual meal too! I have friends that provide hot dogs and hamburgers and I also have friends that say, “Bring whatever you want me to grill and I’ll grill it for you!” Either way works great!

You can also get pizzas or sub sandwiches for an easy meal that is finger food friendly! *Pro-tip: Make sure you order in advance! Pizza and sub places are extremely busy on Super Bowl Sunday!! Here’s a list of all offers and discounts on Super Bowl Sunday.

3. Desserts

Obviously, this is my favorite part of a Super Bowl Party…the desserts!!!

There are so many desserts you can do for your Super Bowl Party dessert selection. Cakes, cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, candies, truffles…the list goes on!

The best part is that it is so easy to make anything Super Bowl or football themed. Make it look like grass or a football and you’re good to go! Or If you really want to get in the spirit, you can decorate them in your favorite team colors!!!!
